Lightning educates the community about running and mental health.
Running is a psychological sport. Psychological factors impact youth runners all the way to elite and world-class runners.
At Lightning, runners learn methods to identify anxiety and athletic performance. Runners learn to manage symptoms by identifying and applying coping skills such as breathing exercises, guided imagery, muscle relaxation and visualization.
